African Story Quilt

A one-of-a-kind quilt, hand-stitched in South Africa and measuring 1.5 metres square. Its patchwork gathers up the things that make this country what it is — the colours of the highveld, the patterns of home, and the small details that only someone who lives here would think to include. Every piece is cut, placed and stitched by hand, so this quilt exists exactly once. When it is gone, it is gone.
